Post-Jam Update


Thank you everyone who took the time to play/rate my entry to the Beginner's Circle Jam!

I've updated the game to incorporate the feedback I received from the jam.  The general consensus was the game got too difficult too quickly, and I couldn't agree more, so I made a few balancing changes as well as some bug fixes.

I've greatly reduced the number of enemies spawning per level.  The total count now increases by one on each new level.

The player knockback code has been tweaked to reduce the chance of being stun-locked by enemies and thrown off the platform.

The point system has been reworked with a much more reasonable combo multiplier (though you can still rack up some high scores!)

I may post a few more polishing updates in the future.  I'd like to improve the collision detection/response code to make chaining enemies more consistent and open up the possibility of billiards-like combos.  I'm also playing around with the idea of getting rid of WASD entirely and adding mobile swipe support for the body slam ability.
